About the conference

The HL7 Structured Documents Technical Committee has invited to participate in the first conference on the Clinical Document Architecture (CDA), ANSI/HL7 CDA R1.0-2000, October 7-9, 2002, Berlin, Germany.

This conference gathered experts and implementors from around the world to discuss the CDA, its application and future development. Day One provided tutorials covering introductory and advanced subjects; Day Two covered current work and national and international initiatives; and Day Three looked at the future of CDA, its diversification into clinically-specialized document types and the extension of the architecture to Levels Two and Three.

The conference was designed for all levels of participants, from managers to technical implementors and from providers to vendors and standards developers.
